Went to the track

For thos who might want to know, I went to New England Dragway tonight... here are my times:

1st Run:
60' - 2.253
1/8 - 9.713 @ 73.94
1/4 - 15.062 @ 91.05

2nd Run:
60' - 2.365
1/8 - 9.875 @ 73.64
1/4 - 15.254 @ 90.42

3rd Run:
60' - 2.402
1/8 - 9.877 @ 74.20
1/4 - 15.215 @ 91.13

1st run against modified 4 door teg = I won
2nd run against a modded prelude si = I won again...
3rd run against GT Mustang 4.6 w/ e = Wow he was pissed

Not bad for just an intake I must say

Not bad at all - get your 60' down and you'll easily break into the high 14's

I didn't think a prelude could beat a Mustang GT. I have 1993 Prelude VTEC with Intake and Exhaust...could I beat a Mustang GT?

Depends on the year of the car. Newer 4.6L GT's are faster then the 90's models.

Nice work, man! Push for the 14's, and in no time, you'll get there...

blue: I only have an AEM short ram. My car needs a tune up bad... it's running way too rich. I'm sure if I tuned it I could get into 14's easily.

Si4WS: Yeah it was a first year 4.6 GT, no real threat, poser mustang It looked like it was all beefed out with lightweight rims and cheater slicks, and I know it had exhaust, but he ran a 15.5 so I was not impressed. btw hows my speaker cover holding up? I just armor alled yours a few hours ago

Matt,

I fricken love that thing. One of my favorite mods to my car, really! I hated folding down my back seat for a port and this cover is perfect, looks stock, and adds style.

Pretty good time, but your trapspeed seems kinda low for the 1/8 mi. MPH speed?

yeah your traps seem low at the top end, like your car is falling on its face or something....stock they trap in the 92-93 area, maybe its the tune up you need or something, i tried to see if i couls scale mine down, ....yeah i raced a 97 GT 4.6 Auto at the track, and my 1/8th mile MPH was almost as high as his 1/4 trap.lmao..i ran 83.21 that run, missed third, he ran 84 in the 1/4..missing third i ran 13.9 @ like 100.87...oh well theres my input , lol
