i recently noticed this about a week ago on my way to work. its like a really loud squeaking sound coming from my front drivers side wheelwell. i think its something suspension related. it doesnt seem like its coming from the engine bay and the sound is there regardless of how high my rpms and speed. it starts after 40mph but ill hear it until the car stops. if anyone can help me out id really appreciate it.

its hard to guess by your description could be lots of things. some visibly noticeable some not! jack it up, take the wheel of and check it out!

But my guess is wheel bearing going bad. or could be the drive axle wearing out.

ive taken the wheel off several times already and theres nothing visibly wrong. i took off my brake assembly cleaned it up and put it back on, nothing. and the axle was replaced about 2 months ago

i took off both drivers side tires yesterday and everything suspension wise looks normal. i took apart the brake assemblys cleaned both and sanded the rotors a bit. the squeaking is gone but now theres like a scratching sound when i brake or when hit a bump or the car leans (where i work there is a spiral ramp to the 5th floor and i hear the sound all the way down the ramp but not when im driving normal) the sound also comes when i brake but not after i drive for a bit, so im at a loss right now

my 92 was doing that exactly. all i did was added power steering fluid, and it went away the next day
