weird sound

for a while i have noticed like a whistleing/chirping sound comming from under the hood i thought it was the fan because the sound would come on and go off and i knew i was missing a bolt on part of the fan so thats why i thought it was the fan. well now it has been making that sound all the time and i noticed the fan wasnt on. The weird thing is it goes away when i engage the clutch has anyone experienced this before, or know what im talkin about?

Prolly some sort of harmonic imbalance that gets dampend when you engage the clutch...
Couldn't tell you if this is something to worry about though.

i just noticed that it sounds like its coming from the header or the head of the engine its starting to scare me now that it does it all the time where as it used to only do it every once in a while thats why i thought it had somethin to do with the fan.

Pushing in the pedal disengages the clutch.
