me and my friend traded taillights for the time being... we both have stock.. except his was custom , he cleared out the orange part (same way from www.hondaprelude.com ). right after putting his taillights in my car , i was on my way home.... suddenly the " brake lamp " lighted up...i have no clue what was the problem.. i never had this happen to me before....it happens only when i drive for awhile on the street and stays on until i turn off the engine...i still have his taillights in my car. any suggestions?

brake lamp light means one of your bulbs broke for the tails, have some one apply the brakes and check which one is out. It might of broke when you were removing the bulbs.

thats right, just means the one of the brake light are burnt out. just get another bulb and all should be good.

soon after i cleared out my orange section my brake lamp light came on also. i checked it out and i didn't have a bad bulb at all. in fact nothing was wrong. i went back and checked the connections to be sure that there wasn't a loose wire. there didn't seem to be but i haven't had the problem since. so my advice is to just check the harness also.
