Hey everyone.

Its kind of a hard question to anwser but i have this weird "Pinging" / "Wha" noise thats sorta like a rotating noise.. And it sounds worse at idleing.

I just replaced the oil pan/gasket and during that i had to remove the part of the exgaust covering the oil pan. Ever since i replaced it and attached the exguast its been making that noise.

My dad seems to think i need more oil.. but my oil level is looking ok so i don't think it would make that noise..


Anyone have any ideas or sugestions? Should i take it to the mechanic?

Pinging that I've had has always been a pretty bad thing. If you cant diagnose what a pinging in a motor is, my advise is to take it to a mechanic.

Its hard to guess what it may be without actually hearing it.

Did you tighten up all the exhaust bolts properly?

yeah im afraid of this noise being something bad.. and i tightend the bolts up tight yeah but is there a certain seq order or did i need to use a torqch wrench? or how evr u spell that
