Sounded like lug nuts banging around in a metal oil can. Like a cow bell or something. I quickly got out of the car and popped the hood and heard it closer. I was like wtf is this. So i just turned the car off. This is all in about a 2min span. I restarted the car and the noise was gone. I drove about 10miles got gas and came back and have not heard the noise. I can't figure out what it was, it has been raining and i didn't drive yesterday, maybe water got in something? Anyone have experience with this.

you didn't back into a cow did you? j/k, so it was like a loud clangy/rattling noise? Can't say I've heard it, but I heard an awful lot of squeeking over xmas on my drive back from canada, i found later it was because water got into the bushings and froze, so the front suspension squeeked under even the slightest of weight transfer, also on that ride home, while I waited for 2 hours on the ambassador bridge, my sterring wheel made a funny sound while a turned it left to right and back, the kinda noise you make when you run your finger nails up and down a vinyl/nylon jacket, or the sound a zipper makes when you open and shut it repeatedly. Lol, sorry for the trip down memory lane, if it never happens again, just don't add to this thread
