weird clink noise coming front right front wheel

This has just started developing recently whenever I hit a small bump or crack in the road I hear a weird metallic clink noise coming from the right front. We have really bad roads here in Colorado cause of the winters so cars can take a pounding. Any ideas.

I would think first off Shock knock. Then lean towards an axle going bad. When was the last time you replaced your struts??

Is it almost a rattle, sort of cause a shudder in the front? If you are on a curve and hit a bump does it give the steering a little jerk? This is what mine progressed to.

Inner tie rod end. Just had mine replaced, they, (the alignment place), couldn't believe it was causing the noise either but it was all they could find that had any wear. That fixed it right up.

well I said it wrong it is on the driver's side but the noise is like dropping a coin in a glass bottle or something. It only happens when I hit bumps.

AH! I have both of those noises!!! When I got my rims, I started noticeing the "coins droping in a jar" sound but it wasnt too bad. Then I lowered my car using Tein HA coilovers and dropped it down as far as they would go. Now the "coins" sound is much more present...louder, more often, more annyoing. Now Ive noticed in the past few weeks a new noise. And that is the "hitting a peice of wood against a tree" sound. I notice it when im turning slowly over a bump. Sometimes its just when I hit a bump, or when Im just steering. Its all pissing me off...I dont like this snap-crackle-pop crap. What the hell are these noises and how do I quite them?!

As I just learned from the General forum, this may be a bad wheel bearing. When my car was on the bottom perches on my Konis, I used to get a similar sound when I bottomed out... could this be it???
