weird air sound during compression test on cylinder 1 but with good numbers.

I just did a compression test on the JDM H22A i got from Osaka motors. The numbers were 210 straight across which is kinda low but i let the car cool down too much looking for the fuel pump fuse. Aside from the numbers everytime the engine cranked there was a sound like air being forced through something. The only exception was when the compression tester was hooked up to cylinder 1. It made the sound when the compression tester was not installed in any cylinders and when installed in either cylinder 2,3,or4. I'm guessing this means the air is coming from cylinder 1 and I'll verify that whenever I have someone else around to crank the engine. Any ideas on what this could be though?
