Yes, the civic has a smaller engine. . .and also a smaller body to stuff it in; cramming a small engine into a small car should be just as hard as cramming a big engine into a big car. I was only referring to the additional wiring we had to do for the VTEC actuation and knock sensor.
Yup yup. Thats why im kinda glad i got a LS engine. Just plug and play, no wires to mess with (even though its only a few for vtec) I cant wait for my swap!! Ill keep up with eric, if not, ill spank his car!! I could keep up with him before the swap, i should be able to keep up with him after, but i rather beat him this time.
hey, you use the helms manual to help with the swap right? is there a separate manual for h23 and h22? if there is, which one do you want to have for the swap? both?

Yeah but have you ever looked in the engine bay of a Civic compared to a Prelude? It seems, to me at least, that dropping a motor in a Civic would be so much easier. You can just lean over to access stuff under a Civic, whereas it feels like you need to climb into the engine bay of a Prelude. That's just what I think.

This is also very true, with my stock engine its very easy to access anything on the motor. Hell, i even changed the timing belt myself. Ive seen countless integra motors in civic and all very easy to work on. The only problem i have is the damn oil filter on the back of the block right under the intake manifold.
