Waterpump irritation

Hey guys,

Did you know that a water pump from an Si will not work in a VTEC? I didn't.

I bought the pump off e-bay cause it was a great deal. I went to install today and it fit into the block perfect but the pulley is smaller in diameter and has the wrong tooth spacing to work on the VTEC.

Well I guess I have a brand new Honda OEM water pump from an SI for sale.

Just have to vent.

You should know better than to do that. Check with Honda to see if the part numbers match BEFORE you order next time.

I might be later on. I have been spending quite a bit and need to balance the checkbook. I will prolly take you up on that in a couple weeks if it is still available.

Thanks

How much are you selling the Si WP for? I should start buying the parts for my T-belt replacement this summer.

How much do want to buy it for? Honda wants $56 for it. You will need to buy a new rubber gasket for it. I would say like $40 shipped. Sound good?

Paypal is jwzimm@u.washington.edu

BTW this thing is BRAND new (it's so shiney )
