Warped Console Fix

Well, I got the two springs needed to fix my warped console. Tomorrow, I will cut them and install them. If the fix works like Honda says it will, I will post before and after pics.

I just need to find a way to cut the brackets down. I might have to wait until Saturday.

The clips are only for 94-96 Ludes. I don't think there is a fix for 92 and 93.

Clips can be ordered at Honda for a couple of bucks. Part number is 90610-SR3-003.

These are the same clips that hold the back most trunk liner in, that plastic piece that goes along the outer edge where the trunk closes on on either side of the latch .. If you pull that out the same clips are there ...

good tip for all you junkyard dogs! might even be some in other imports?

So much for this fix. I followed the steps as the TSB said, and my console actually looked worse. At least it was worth a shot. Time to try some of the other fixes.

so no luck at all huh? I can't see the clips that i have while i type this, but if they're different on one side than the other, are you sure you ground off part of the clip on the right side, and did you grind too much/not enough by chance? That sucks that it didn't fix it, I'll still try it on my car to see if it works, I'll keep my fingers crossed and let you guys know.

The problem is that the console doesnt fit correctly once the clips are in place. I tried to slam the console in, but it just wont fit.
