on warm weather my car has trouble starting

on warm weather my car has trouble starting it just cranks but doesnt turn over check engine light goes on and i gotta wait until it turns off again before it starts up what the hell?

have you checked the distributor or the plugs? just trying to
throw out some suggestions, hope this helps

yup i checked the distributor and i changed the plugs when i got a tune up. it seems to only happen on warm weather days its really a pain in the @ss if i dont get this solved i might sell the car and get an MR2 but i love my car too much

Same problem

I kinda have that problem only without the check engine light. Mine will crank about 6 or 7 times before it fires up and it's even worse in cold weather. Could be the starter or a weak battery, I dunno. Oh, about the MR2, my little brother just got one. Pretty sweet. Not to mention, he just ordered his JDM turbo engine for it. Cheaper than slapping a turbo kit on the 2.2L engine.

curvebal you said your cranks 6 or 7 times and problems with the check engine light thats exactly the same thing with mine i dont think its the battery because i changed the battery its prolly the ignition or something oh well
