v-afc...tune your i/h/e for maximum hp output, earlier vtec engagement, smoother power curve

the vafc really won't do much for you for top end numbers. it is basically to gain some midrange and bits here and there throughout the band.
also, with stock cams, the general rule is the lower the vtec engagement point the rpm where peak hp is reached will be lower. the power band changes.
i'm only referring to your request for top end.
if that's what you're in it for, get an obd1 gsr ecu. your top end will be simply amazing. experienced both and it's a huge change.

look into a pair of adjustible cam gears. you can shift the power in the powerband to higher rpm.

i want cams but im looking into some 18" wheels for show and maybe cams after.
I recommend the skunk2 cams. heard only good things about them.
vafc
skunk2 camshafts
skunk2 cam sprockets
skunk2 valve springs and retainers
in my case - skunk2 obd2 -obd1 conversion
skunk2 chipped ecu
those are my next mods after wheels

AEM doesn't make camshafts, they make Cam Gears/sprockets and they suck. I would go for Crower Camshafts & Crower Cam Gears. remember for the camshafts you are going to need to upgrade your valvetrain (stiffer springs) and also retainers.

AEM's car gears are **** and a total waste of money, I wouldn't buy anything from crower. I can show you pictures of my friends engine .. he had crower valve springs, retainers, cams and gears ... needless to saw his crower retainer BROKE and his valve hit his pistion! His motor had to be rebuild ... crower is ****. Skunk2 makes high-quality products. Just my 2 cents...
