Ditching the cat and EGR should help too if you live somewhere that doesn't test emissions.

Just also noticed other posts above about modified stock IM, Euro R still out performs that as well.
ok i have some ****ty OBX r headers with a Apexi N1 catback exhaust.. injen cold air intake.

if you want more power, it's going to cost money. i know you said you don't have deep pockets but if you save your money and spend it on the better quality parts, you will be happier in the long run.

First, make your engine breathe better:
-cold air intake, velocity stack
-larger TB
-aftermarket IM (rosko, skunk 2, euro r, etc.)
-port & polish TB & IM
-aftermarket fuel management (rail, injectors, pump)
-header (bisimoto, hytech, RMF, custom Kteller setup etc.) 2.5"-3" collector
_you may want to avoid OBX, Megan, DC, Ebay if you're serious about making power because these tend to be merely OEM replacements.
-High-flow cat
-2.5"-3" cat-back piping

Other Helpful Mods:
-cams
-underdrive pulleys
-aftermarket clutch and flywheel (stage 1 or 2 with a 12lb. fly would be a nice setup)
-engine mounts (innovative, esp)
-traction bar with front damper (esp)
-coilovers or stiffer suspension

Why does everyone think that more fuel with bolt on's at stock displacement is going to do anything? Don't waste your money on fuel system upgrades, it's only needed when you have either changed the displacement or greatly increased the rate of air flow through the engine. I'm still on stock injectors, rail, regulator and pump and pulling hard, if you get bigger injectors you wont even use them, you'll need a tune just to dial them back.

Totally ignore sundayforever, he looks like a bot and if not either way he has no idea wtf he's talking about.
