VTEC wiring...

I am looking at my car and I cna tell that its either wired for vtec or I am crazy as hell.. Anyways, I was wondering for all of you who have vtec where the connectors come out in the engine bay.. So far I located the solenoid one(green/yellow) which comes out right behind the battery.. I am trying to figure out where the light blue one is... I found a strong blue right by the other one that has a connector doing the same thing(nothing) and am wondering if thats it or where it is.... The color is definently darker than whats coming out of the ecu.... I am prewired though.. At least I am pretty sure I am and the pinouts matched up like they should...

Re: VTEC wiring...

If the blue wire you are talking about looks like this:

Then that is a service connector where a technician can hook up a tach to view RPM's from munder the hood.

The blue wire can be found in the grey plug next to the underhood fusebox. It is the upper one in this pic:

and here is a closeup:

You will find a light blue wire going into the back of the plug but nothing on the front.

If you have a 93-96 Si, non-4WS its most likely wired for VTEC from the ECU to the Main under hood harness.

can anyone take a pic of where the VTEC wires go(the light blue... Zimmlude cleared up the connector form which the y come, but to where they go... I guess if no one can help I could always look at my JDM wiring harness at home and find it!)... I havent been able to get back on the site until now.. I am still having an issue with the rear motor mount bolt lining up right.. I got the green and yellow plug in for the soleniod and can tell which one it is in the pictures.. Just a little lost on the rest.. Right now theres another connector I have on my wiring harness thats hooked up to the sensor right below the top solenoid connector and it fits although the wires are black(ground of course) and a white/yellow one I think... Can anyone take a picture of the other VTec hook up and see if I am just lost and help me out on this... I got one and havent been to worried about vtec yet as I got other problems I was finishing... I should eb able to get to that wiring in the next day... I went ahead and asked... I got one hooked up nicely, now I just need the other one which is 2 wires.... Sorry, in class right now.. Cant get more details about what I am talkign about... Thanks guys... Soon to be JDM h22
