Vtec will not kick in.

I belive there's something wrong with the Vtec on my car It's like it doesn't kick in anymore. I mean I will stomp it and it doesn't get the extra boost at 5 or more grand anymore. I don't drive my car that much around one time a week but that doesn't have anything to do with it. Does it? Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks for your help in advance.

Yes just had it changed about a week or so ago. This really bothers me. I'll drive it again today and see what it does. Thanks.

VTEC Engagement

Are you pulling any check engine codes? When I had a clutch put in on my h22a the dumb a$$es broke my vtec solinoid harness. It didn't pull a engine code till I got home. If you are pulling a code, there is a small plastic harness behind your stereo, take some speaker wire(whatever) and strip both ends and put one end in each hole of the harness. This will complete the check engine circuit, It will then flash the check engine light, the first flashes are slow, this is the first digit. The next are fast that is your second digit. ie: Blink Blink=2
Blink Blink Blink=3
Then just call the dealership and tell them the code and they should tell you what part of your system is malfunctioning, or if you have a service manual I just wasted my time.

SRS Light

No, your SRS light won't flash. Its a check engine light. You may want to look at a service manual to make sure you are using the right harness. You maybe using a troubleshooting harness for the airbag system. Trust me you don't want to mess with that.
