VTEC Rev-Limiter?

The rev-limiter on my vtec is about 8,000 rpm, Those of you that have VTEC what is yours?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that your engine is the same as all the other Preludes out there, therefore the Revlimiter is gonna be at the same spot.

Appreciate your respnonses, but please reply only if you're going to answer the question!

The reason I was asking is because my Tach was acting weird and I wanted to make sure it was working properly, I'm not trying to show that my angine is better or different than others.

All 5th gen's fuel cut off is at 8k. And some 4g VTECs are at 8k as well. Mine is at about 7.6k rpm. But then again, all of our tachs are off when it gets that high...
