Vtec radiator in Si

Well my radiator had the common leak. I guess its common anyway. Well I went to get a new radiator and turns out the Si one had to be special ordered and it would take a while. So I started looking at the vtec one and noticed it was very similar, measured a few things and decided to go for it, especially seeing we had it in stock. I pulled the radiator and removed the fans, I then went to install the fans on the new radiator and noticed the mounting is way different . So I was screwed, well I put the radiator in anyway it bolted in perfect. I filled up the radiator started it every is fine. Now I just need vtec fans and I'll be set.

So far the advantage I noticed is the vtec has a dual row instead of the si's single row. I just hope no one tells me the fans won't fit.

I ordered a dual core all metal 90-93 accord fan, as far as i know they are the same as 92-96 Si radiators, but we will see!

^ Yeah so far.

My only problem is I can't seem to determine that the vtec fans are different from the Si fans. Can anyone confirm this?

i did the vtec readiator in my si, cuz thats all auotzone had in stock, the fan brackets i cut the metal one than rewelded it back cuz the bolts are different location and the plastic fan fit, but one of the fan rubs agaist the radiator so i stuck a rubber grommet sort thing behind it. easy job took maybe at the most 30mins.

well for the record 90-93 Accord radiators fit in fine, but the main fan bolt holes are different.. AC fan is the same...
