vtec parts - Honda Prelude Forum

i have very easy acess to a 94 s and i know a guy selling a 93 vtec for cheap.. the vtec needs rear struts, brakes and will probley need a new exhaust system in the future.. so the question is are the parts mentions from the s compatable w/ the vtec? thanks for you help guys.

none of those are anything i'd 'trade" with another car..
+ they're all cheap and better when aftermarket

The struts (shocks) are interchangable on the the 4g models.
I THINK the brakes are the same for the rear, I know the SI and VTEC are, but I'm not sure about the S. The front brakes are completely different on all the models.
The exhaust on the S and VTEC is different, due to the larger diameter piping on the VTEC.
If you can, get aftermarket parts, they're generally better and cheaper than new OEM parts.
