Im not sure why but vtec at first would not kick in... but then i didnt drive for like a hole day then it worked. The day after it worked, it has not worked and still does not.
If someone could please list some problems or reasons why it is not working anymore.. i would really like to feel the power that it should have.
Ok i think my car is burning oil... but i thought that if i add lucas and 40w it should be ingaugeing more because with 5w 30 there is not enough pressure, but it does not at all. My best bet it to prolly overhaul it... any1 have suggestions to check for when i do
you just decided it would be a good idea to add lucas oil stabilizer and 40w to the crankcase? What allowed you to arrive at this idea? And how did you come to think that with 5-w30 there was too little pressure? Did Honda not engineer the engine lubrication system properly, or were you trying to fix a symptom of an assumed greater problem with your vehicle?
I'll take a shot at why someone might do this: If you put higher viscosity oil in a system and try to push it though the same orifices that the recommended lower viscosity once passed through, you will indeed increase pressure. HOWEVER, and this is a big however, the engine wasn't designed to run on high viscosity oil and you likely are putting a greater strain on the oil pump while getting poor lubrication.
Before you go an make any decisions on how to fix your problem or any assumed greater problem. Quit listening to yourself and whoever is currently giving you car advice and find someone knowledgeable in your area to check it out. Searching the forums and asking intelligent and pointed questions about issues not previously discussed will also do you a lot of good in determining the condition of your engine.
If you do arrive at the conclusion that you need to do a rebuild; don't do it. Just swap in a JDM H22. If you want to know why, search. It's been covered a thousand times. Seriously, I think it has.

I think your right because its been heating up more than before... but the reason why i want to rebuild it is because i want to put better parts on it... plus if i take it out, i will have to put more hours in at work. I also want to get experience on this type of work. What do you think?

I think I wouldn't want to put more hours in at work, so no. I also think (read "know") that it will cost more to rebuild it with stock OR 'better parts', so no. As well, I think that gaining experience on working on cars shouldn't be done on a daily driver; so if you're lude is your DD... No.
And why would you want to put more hours in at work? Unless they're paying you to work on your car (i.e. you're a mechanic, which from what I'm reading from you isn't likely.... but even so, who would pay someone to work on one's own car?) then you'd have less time to work on your car. Does this make any sense to anyone else?

Dude, come on, we are here to help each other, not to "threaten" the PO family. If you wanna talk a big game, go over to honda-tech with the other sh!t talkers.
I wonder if the quantum physics forums get these kind of posts?
Content: Well if you put some seafoam in the oil, run it for a bit, goose it a couple times, then change the oil to 5w-30 conventional. it might clean out a blockage if thats the problem. If not search "clean vtec screen". I'd try those first.
