vtec help

Does anyone know where I can find a complete detailed wiring diagram for the h22 swap into a 95 prelude. I've done a ton of searches but came up with nothing.
I'd appreciate it
Thanks
Jonathan

Do you know exactly what they did wrong? Because if you tell us, I'm sure one of us can tell you how to fix it.

I'm not sure if it is a wiring problem because going by what you wrote, VTEC does engage SOMETIMES. If it was wired wrong, VTEC wouldn't engage at all. I don't think wrong wiring would also cause a rough idle either.

It could be loose vaccum lines, your VTEC solenoid is going bad, a bad TPS, etc.

It could be many things. I would take it back to the mechanic who installed the engine and have them run a diagnostics test on it to make sure everything is working properly. It should cost about $90 for the test but it will save you TIME and MONEY. Normally people try to trouble shoot on their own and end up replacing parts that do not fix the problem.

Good luck!

Mark

Thanks for the suggestions.....I'm going to use that thread to check and make sure those ecu pinouts are correct and if that still doesnt work I'll do what mark suggested.
Thanks
