VTEC exhaust?

Where can I find a stock exhaust for a VTEC? I can't find anything here, eBay, various classifieds sites, etc. I'm pretty sure a 5th gen won't fit a 4th gen...right?

TIA

a 96 VTEC exhaust on a 94 VTEC won't detune any engine mods, right? Only the ECU determines it? I've heard there's something extra in the exhaust of 96's that determines emissions?

There is an extra bung for a 2nd O2 sensor for OBDII.
Just plug the hole with a short bolt and your good to go.

But since the car doesn't have the OBDII in it, can't I just leave it be? Why would I have to plug a hole in the exhaust?

So you dont have a loud annoying buzz/hiss.

An oil drain plug from an early model GM vehicle threads in the o2 bung quite nicely. At least I think it's GM. Don't know...just go to your local parts store, and go to the oil drain plugs and find the right one.

Wait, the o2 bung is in the cat, not in the exhaust, what are we talking about?

why is there a hole in the exhaust? Shouldn't the 2nd O2 sensor be attached?

only if your running odb2 does the engine/ecu actually have the sensor that goes in the exhaust.

since your running 94 your engine is odb1 so it doesnt have the sensor. meaning, you'll have nothing to put in the exhaust so it'll be an open hole ... creating an annoying buzz/hiss.

put a gm bolt in this to plug it up and your set.

But guys, it doesnt matter, he's buying an exhaust, not a cat convertor. The exhausts are identical with no extra holes or anything.

What would happen if I put the 96 exhaust on there and left it? Nothing, right?

4bidden, then why did you say to plug it up if there's no extra holes in your other post?

You still said "An oild drain plug from an early model GM vehicles threads in the o2 bung quite nicely..." But you did correct yourself.

They are not the same. The bolt pattern on the cat is different. You can easily modify one of the other to fit since the piping dimensions are the same.

Many members have posted that one of the three holes needed to be modified for the exhaust to bolt up. Why are there different models then for si/s and vtec exhausts?
