Well good luck... The H22a (vtec engine) are just direct bolt in's so it shouldnt be too much trouble....

If you had the 2.3L and are going to go with the 2.2L you will need the ecu from that computer and several other things to make it work right other wise you won't get vtec and it will run slow. Also you should look into getting the tranny from the 2.2L 'cause its geared differently then the 2.3L. Bit faster.
Do a search on the board, there are a load off questions and answers around here about doing this and doing a head swap with the 2.3L and 2.2L

Hey man,
I am in the middle of a swap right now. I am swapping a JDM H22 and tranny into my 93 SI. It is really easy, but like he said you need the ECU from the VTEC Lude, and also part of the wiring harness. You have to have the connectors that plug into the VTEC solenoid. There are two. Email me if you have any questions. racer456@yahoo.com

Hey,
Yeah I needed engine, ECU, tranny and wiring harness, but a JDM wiring harness is only useable for parts. You are also gonna wanna change the timing belt, balancer belt, water pump, and thermostat. Those cost $175 total at Hondaautomotiveparts.com. I also got adjustable cam gears since I was gonna have the timing belt off. So far it has cost me 3000. Plus tools...hehe. Everyone around here wanted at least 1000 to swap in the motor. So I decided to do it myself.
