VSS problem

Aight, I was able to swap my tranny and finished it up today.
Not bad .... 4th gen s w/h22 swap.

Now there is only one problem-
My speedo isnt working....wtf? im assuming my VSS my have been damaged in the process of swapping teh tranny. I never really messed with it at all. Just removed and pushed to the side.
Why do i think its the VSS? CEL 17... eh, i guess my question is, could it be that my vss is bad or just a bad connection? Ive checked the wires and they look good.
Everything was going good....damn

Carlos

P.S. thanks for all the tips i got from the tranny swap.

hmmm... someone actually told me it could be that my vss has to either be recalibrated or replaced due to the fact that the Vss and the sensor on top where disconnected...eh... damn..
