vss fix

i recently had a problem with my mph gauge jumpimg up and down and eventually going dead also my cruise control quit working so i searched the forum and the only answers were for the sensor being bad so i finally went out and took the sensor off and tested it while doing so i noticed the 2 hoses going into the gear drive one of them was leaking powersteering fluid so i replaced the hose put the sensor back on and eureka! my speedo works fine the cruise control is back and no more flashing d light, so for those of you with the mph speedo problem and no cruise control check your hoses that go to the gear drive mine was barely even leaking but just enoufgh for the sensor not to work. its worth a look and better than spending 50 buck on a sensor that might not even be bad, also thank you to everyone on here for info and input this forum has saved me tons of money.

that is the longest sentence ever.

check your fuses, sometimes i'd get a loose fuse and my speedo/tach would go out along with all the other dash lights.

it's more a matter of simple punctuation, my good man.
Does your car ever studder when this happens?
if so, you could add an alternator to that list of possibilities.
