VIS G Force hood on a 4th gen

Hello everybody,

I'm thinking of getting this hood, but I can't seem to find any pics of 4th gens out there with it on. Do you have/know of someone with one? I need a hood with a not so obvious scoop to cool somewhat my JRSC.

I'm linking to the Geramy's on PreludePower 5th gen version of the hood below just as an idea.

Thanks in advance

wow i had a suspicion my english was bad, but until now I didn't know exactly HOW bad!!! I was trying to find someone with this hood on a 4th gen but apparently I ended up asking for fashion advice.

My blower is heating up to 150 degs so unless you have a suggestion on another way to keep it cool with a pretty hood, start another thread about how ugly this hood looks or just keep your non so constructive criticisms to yourselves... but thanks for stopping by

jrsc on a 4th gen? you may be able to find something on line. from what I found, it was hard to find some parts for a 4th gen. I think it would work though

Yah, already have the Hondata IM gasket. there's just too much hot air in there. I figure the scoop will take care of the blower and I'll open up a NACA duct on the front right (where the stock air box used to be) to take care of the air intake temps...

You could always do the "JDM hood tilt" thing, where you raise the rear of the hood. I know of a guy (98vtec on H-T, preludepower, etc.) who did this and he said it made a decent difference in IATs on an NA motor so I'd guess that it would help significantly for a JRSC.

^^I did something similar, take off the rear gasket between the back of the hood and the vent shroud. Should help cool it.

Oh AWESOME!!! Do you have some pics of it on your car? How about pics of the bottom of the hood? I want to see where their reinforcement bars are. I'm mainly interested on the corner where the battery and air box are.

Thanks a million!!!

Can you take pics of that? I wanna see how it looks with the back of the hood lifted. and when you say it made a big difference is there a way you can quantify?

Thanks
