Viper 550 ESP w/ 530t

Ok, I'm pist. I took my car in a couple of days ago and had the viper 550 esp installed with the full window animation. Today I went back in because my windows have very limited animation. They roll down 2in and then with another click of the remote will roll down another 2in. They told me it is because I have the auto roll down on my windows. They told me it was typical on the 94-96. I think he is full of it but I trust my installer. He has done it for 10 years. He told me he called DEI and and they told him the same. I am wondering if anyone else has the full window animation and if so, how it works?? I had my heart set on the window animation and now I am just going to go with the sunroof animation. Thanks for the input!

To get them to roll down all the way you have to hold the button down for about 5 seconds. If your doing that and they still dont go down all the way, your installer didn't set the dip switches on the 530t correctly. The 530t uses the resistance of the window motor wires to tell if the window is all the way down, if the switches are set on a low resistance the module will think the windows are all the way down when they're not.

So basically I need to smack my installer for not knowing? That sounds like an easy alternative. I will run that passed him and see what he says. I am glad there are smarter people in the world! Thanks!
