Well, you can hear between 3500 and 4500 it gets a AWFFULLL rasp to it, it sounded wicked before I removed the cat, and put the straight pipe thru

fully rebuilt h22a1, 93 sr-v (canadian)

Spun a rod bearing, shortly after purchasing the car, opted for a rebuild instead of swap (STUPID) , but learned a ton, about the h22a and its capabilties. Did the rebuild with my dad, in our garage. Machine shop did the boring and hone work.

-new stock pistons, oversized (bored and honed cylc)
-1 new rod
-repolished and resized crank for clevite 77 oversized bearings
-port matched head, with very mild p&p work
-3 angle valve job
-run of the mill shortram intake
-megan (stock replacement) header - eventually goin to replace with turbo mani
-megan test pipe
-sebring exhaust was on the when I bought it, very low exhaust note at lower rpms with the cat converter in, VERY nice growl after vtec. With the test pipe it increased airflow incredibly and made the exhaust just rasp through mid range rpms... sounds horrible now. Sounds great in vtec, very mean sounding, all tho verrrrrrrrry loud.
-centerforce dual friction clutch
-stock flywheel

Future plans

Another rebuild, possibly on a new block tho, this time sleeves, rods, forged pistons, rebuilt head, turbo, etc etc etc...

Planning for 325whp..

I have the tools, manpower and knowledge, to do this, just require the $$$$ ... and lots of it :P

Currently im working on my friends 95 civic, hes setting it up for turbo, got most of his parts, already. Put his clutch in last tuesday, this tuesday we mounted his IC, next were gonna tap the oil lines in, and get the plumbing done if possible. Hes doing simple custom bolt on job. Shooting for 210 whp if we are lucky.
