I was looking for some front brake rotors on Nopionline.com and ran across some vented rotors by powerstop. What is the difference between these and cross drilled?
Vented is the space in between the rotor itself. It allows the air to flow through the rotor making cooling more efficient. You usually can't just get vented rotors if you didn't have them before unless you plan on swapping out the caliper as the thickness of the rotor is different. The SI's and VTEC 4th gens had vented rotors in the front..not sure about the S. A solid rotor is used in the back for all models.
