Vehicle Speed Sensor problems

Okay, removing tranny went to go remove the VSS and without thinking about it removed the lines that run in and out of it leaked fluid everywere long story short there is now a screw stuck in the driver's side line in the metal part. Question is anyone have any good ideas on how to get it out? The flaring on the end of the line designed to hold the rubber hose on tight has pretty much trapped it in there...

P.S. I'd been working on this damn thing for 8 hours and it's 1AM here so... yeah it was a big mistake to make but could we avoid post like how the hell did you get a screw in there? I just need to get it OUT of there. Thanks.

try taking out the VSS and then turning it upside down and shaking the screw out?

Thanks for trying man, I dunno if you've seen it but there are two hard metal lines that curve up at a 90 degree angle towards the back of the engine. The screw is in one of those. The two rubber hose from the VSS slide over the top of them.
