valve springs

Does anyone know if h22a valve springs with work in a h23a head? If not, who makes aftermarket valve springs for the 2.3L ? I can't seem to find any, also need valves and retainers ... thanks for any input.

blah

Also, can I put a vtec head on my 2.3 block and run it without vtec? I could care less about vtec, I just want to be able to upgrade my valve train and it seems like almost every company makes springs/valves/retainers for the 22, and the 22's valve train makes a lot less noise than the 23. If this is possiable, what is needed other than the head? I'm asuming I'd need 22 head bolts since the 22 head is taller, 22 timing belt, anything else? 22 ecu or 23 ecu? I plan on going turbo, so I am not interested in haveing vtec. Thanks for any input! Also, if anyone out there has a 22 head for sale, email me I'm interested. Thanks.

I'll do either but will h22a1 valve springs work in a h23a1 head? If not, I will more than likely put a h22a1 head on my h23a1 block. Just need to know what I need to make it work. I do not want to hook up vtec, just want to be able to upgrade my valve train ... thanks for any input.

You may be able to get away with a H23 Vtec setup I sure all you need to do is disconnect the vtec selonoid and hope you get no check engine light. Or you may be able to use the h23 computer and the computer will not even look for the vtec.

a check engine light would be the last of my worries and I would stick with the 2.3L ecu... I'm gonna try and find one and see if it works ... thanks for the input.
