valve cover leak

Ok, i replaced the old valve cover gasket on my 92 h23 non vtec prelude. I have leaks on both sides of it! it's an aftermarket gasket which i heard are worthless anyway. but are there any tricks to help fix it without doing anything permanent? Note my old gasket is long gone. thanks

Get a new gasket? Get some gasket sealer or honda bond. If it's really leaking it's probably not seated correctly.

Might as well replace your cam seals as well.

No. 7 in the pic, on the opposite end of the cam gears/timing belt.

You have to be careful when placing the valve cover back on when replacing the seal, it's easy to knock it outta place. Get some sure-tack or something like it to temporarily hold gaskets into place.
