Valve Adjustment?

I was driving my cousins 97 Base lude today and it felt a lot "smoother" than my 93 SI. Is the h22 a smoother engine, or does this just mean i might need a valve adjustment. Oh yeah his car is completely stock and i have a short ram intake. Whatever it was though, driving his car was awesome, so smooooth. Still love my H23 but VTEC is like a drug, so addicting

don't be too seduced by smoothness. appreciate the more gruff nature of the H23. Your intake is adding to this as well.

I have a 98 and I ****canned the resonator just to add gruffness!

I just did mine, and I noticed an increase in horsepower .. Normally when I race, I *chirp* the 1-2 shift... but after the valve adjustment, the wheels actually spun on the 1-2 shift...

Engine got a lot quieter too...

Im serious... altho I have 80k miles and that apparently was the first valve adjustment ever done because it NEEDED lots of adjusting...
