VAFC2 installation in a Mk4 Lude???

Hi folks, I've searched the site but cannot located any relevent info relating to installing a VAFC2 controller into an imported Mk4 'Lude.

The big prob is that Apex do not show a pin-out diagram that is the same as my ECU. Yep, I've searched their site but cannot find the info I need.

So, can anyone out there help out with a pin-out diagram or a wiring diagram that would help with installation. I've checked out the service manual but it does not show the ECU for some reason...

Attached are 3 photos that show the plugs, connectors and serial # of my ECU - hopefully there's some kind sole out there who can help. Ah - having probs uploading the photos, so if they would be of help please let me know and I'll send them over.

Thanks in advance folks - have a good one.

Dobbs.

hmm my helms manual showed my pin locations

also ntpog.org has a writeup on it.

you really only need to find like 4 wires and splice it in. or go the quick/expensive way. get a harness ready made. lots of ppl make it including marcucci (local sponsor on po)

Yeap, and I had you to thank for a the SAFC...though it got ganked a few weeks ago. %*$*# thieves!

And no problem, I went through a lot of searching on Superhonda, Honda-tech, and here to find all of those pin outs. It took a while but I'm glad I could be of help.

Okay...., fitted the controller as per the WH-1 pin diagram which matches my ECU (3NO if that makes any diff), went through the initial setup and started her up. The engine service light came on, she ran v.rough until the revs built up.

The controller is not displaying any throttle action, which along with the service light indiates that the sensor is not set correctly. Preludestan has previously posted that the VAFC2 sensor types should be set to 6 & 6, but that does not make any diff...

I've checked the wiring and all looks good...

Can anyone shed any light on this, in particular the correct sensor settings and why the throttle is not being shown on the controller?

Many thanks in advance,

Dobbs.

^wierd. nothing ever happend to mine until we street tuned it. you sure all the wires are correct? zero out the vafc? if you aren't reading any throttle position then you wired something wrong.

before my tune the safc would still read throttle %, pressure, rpm's
