VAFC question.

Ive searched on this so dont hassle me about that..


If I have a vafc tuned and all setup.. then my car battery dies.. when I get a new battery.. am I going to lose all settings on my VAFC? just a question Ive been pondering..

no the VAFC has a battery all its own. You should be ok.

I don't think it has a battery of its own, but it does however save your settings until you "re-initalize" the unit.

Basically it holds the settings until you return it to the factory default settings.

Then it must have a non-volatile memory (like Flash or EEPROM) that retains data even after the power is lost.
