v-tec hitting revlimiter

after a long battle with motor swap it's done fired it up sounds great. let it warm up and went to test drive it and waiting for v-tec to hit and bummer... once it hits the revlimiter kicks in and it just bounce there.. please help

how long did you let it warm up? I know i'd have to get the temp gauge to the middle before I could hit VTECH. If this isn't the case, check your wiring, your oil level, and your VTECK solenoid.

Yeah, check the VTEC solenoid and make sure it is securely connected. I had the same problem when I put in a new motor last year.

found what was worng it had a bad ecu. replaced ecu works great!!..
