Used DC sports intake

This girl is trying to sell me a DC sports SRI w/ K&N filter for $50. She says that it will add 7hp. I'm thinking no way will a SRI add 7hp. ...but i thought I would ask you 1st. Is it a good buy or worth the $50? let me know. thanx

a CAI would probably yield those numbers, but i doubt a short ram would.

the short ram intake does have minimal gains. usually it's in the lower end where as the CAI is for the upper end.

but yes the sound is good

man i've said it once and i'll say it again. some of you REALLY don't know what you're talking about. short ram only good for sound? cai makes power high end and short ram low end? man... the quality of info on this site has been going downhill lately...

just a little fyi for you people out there. short rams generally denote "high" rpm power. more of a mid to high end bump in hp. whereas a coldair helps low end.

if you don't believe me. go research itb's and why they work the way they do.
