Use JDM(lsd) trans with usdm H22?

I definitely want some kind of lsd. Would money bet better spent on a Quaife instead of swapping in a JDM trans? How much could I pick up a JDM(lsd) trans for?

That seems pricey. I thought I remembered someone talking 650-700, but that was in a group-buy though!

www.JDMclub.com sells them for $300, but I don't know if you can just buy the tranny, or if it's a deal if you get the motor, too.

thats $900 for the tranny. The deal works like this:

engine and tranny = $2500

engine only $2500 - $600 = $1900

engine, tranny, and LSD = $2800

assuming you are paying $1900 for the engine, then you are paying $900 for the tranny. Thats how much I bought my JDM LSD tranny w/ 27K miles for.

Yea, that's it. I had read add $300 for LSD. So they will sell just the tranny?

Is the only difference between JDM and USDM trans LSD? Or are there other differences?

yes the jdm unit with lsd (i.e. h22a type-s) can be bolted to a usdm motor.
