If there is an acutal H23 that exists as JDM does anyone know what differences it has between the USDM. And are there any easily identifiable differences between the F22B (DOHC) and the H23 besides the engine code and VIN?
There is no such thing as a JDM H23... the Si's in Japan used a DOHC F-series engine (F22B), that put out 160hp. The H23 is only found in North American Preludes, sorry no JDM H23's

hehe...you're wrong Tyler. There was a JDM H23, however, it was a DOHC VTEC found in the Accord wagon. I forget which one exactly, as preludechic said, it's been discussed quite a bit.

japanese honda engines do not have a number after the engine code, therefore your h23a2 and a4 are not real engines.

I meant that there were no H23's similair to the one in North America (non-vtec)... the H23-VTEC in the Accord is a different engine, which I already knew about. You know what I mean...
