usdm ecu jdm block

i have a jdm h22 but i am getting a usdm h22 ecu...would it run right if i hooked up the jdm motor to the usdm ecu?

well maybe the JDM ecu has a little bit of timing advance and fuel for the higher compression pistons, but nothing crazy

my friend looked up at h-t.com and said that the really only difference is that the JDM is mapped to run on 101 octane and has different air/fuel maps and a higher rev limiter...what is the rev limit of a US and JDM? also how much does it cost to get a ecu remapped? i was thinking about getting the US ecu remapped after i installed it
