Update (Still looking for answers)
I could still use some suggestions for a solution. I own a 93 Prelude Vtec. For the last 5 months or so I have been chasing down a stalling problem. The problem began as what seemed like random stalling at engine ignition. The engine would stall then would not start for several minutes. At first there was plenty of fuel in the engine, so I started at the ingition system, replacing the ignition switch and wireing up to the interior firewall, the distrubitor(shot),fuel filters(main filter slightly clogged), air filter(dirty), battery, plugs(slight corrosion on one plug) and wires. No luck, The problem was still existing and happening more frenquently with longer times before the engine would start again. During the engine stall I pulled the fuel bleed on the engine and noticed that fuel was sometimes not present in the engine so I replaced the fuel pump. I now have consistant fuel and pressure to the engine but when I gave any amount of gas the tack would jump around and the enging would sputter and die. I then disconnected the o2 sensor and that allowed me to at least drive to work without stall;ing althougt the sputtering was pretty bad still. I went and bought some sea foam(all purpose gas/oil carb treatment) and ran it through each system. It helped although the o2 sensor is still disconnected I no longer am stalling and I only have slight sputtering at freeway speeds. Im still looking for what the cause of the sputtering could be.
