Update On H23 Cams

I spoke with David Crower and he told me to send a fax to Brian Crower at (619) 422-9067 concerning the interest in billet cams for the H23. I am going to send a fax on Monday, and I would recommend everyone else do the same.

David also said that they are still in the process of testing for the next three months at least.

How about have everyone who is interested (ie all of us with H23s) add our name to a list on your fax?

Start a thread that everyone can put thier name on, like one of those email petition/chain mail things you used to get back in HS. eg:

1) Ryu Ohtsuka, 92 Prelude Si

or something like that, then you can print it and fax it.

I'd like to see them come out with some just so the H23 guys can enjoy a hard pulling top end like the H22 guys.

Dunno about 4th and 5th, but 1-3 yeah. Everyone with 5th gens all say 3rd gear is their strong gear though...

it's a whole 'nother story after 3rd my friend. H22's have top end like whoa on our H23's... sorry to say. They just kinda die out up top. You'll get pulled on by a 22 in 4th and 5th. I also can beat an H22 till 3rd, then 4th comes and it's over.

are 5th gens that weak?? I dont see a h23 pulling any h22 in 3rd. was that guy running on 2 clyinders? you need to run another h22 in third just to see, and post the outcome.

Actually, I did pull a 5th gen, in 3rd on the street. HE actually got me sleeping on the line, but in 2nd and 3rd I pulled him in and passed him. He also had at least I/E

no it's not man. I for one am getting tired of all the talk about this f22b being better than the h23, just because it's a j-spec motor or sumthin. It has lower compression, less horsepower AND less torque than the h23, so what are you trying to prove? Not hatin, just wonderin why you're thinking what you're thinking.

4th gear sucks in the H23, like I have said before, I loose races in 4th on the street, not all the time, but if I'm going to loose and I didn't get killed off the line, I'll loose in 4th. Now don't get me wrong, the H23 is fast. I beat almost every 5th gen I ever race. I run .1 slower in the 1/4 then the best 4th gen VTEC at LFW. What I'm trying to say is that the H23 is a good race between USDM VTECs, especially 5th gens, not a great race for a JDM H22.
