i figured i would start a thread not so long so my 56k dependant computer doesnt over heat trying to load long threads
The Bad News:
the diagnosis for my car is a cracked head, head gasket, the entire front suspension and 4 rotors and calipers.
The Good News:
I am going to test drive a 93 VTEC tommorow. Its blue/green with 78,000 miles. The price is 8,900 but the kelly blue book value is 8,000. We may get him down to 7,000. Things are looking really good. My dad was going to look at the car tommorow and not tell me about it but it slipped and now he has to let me test drive it. I am feeling really good about this car. I hope its in good shape. Cause I think my dad will def let me get it. And I'll be able to transfer all of my mods. I cant wait. I might actually wake up before noon 2morrow
I am getting a loan for the car by the way if we get it. It will be fromt he National Bank of Mom and Dad. I will have to pay for this car in full in installments over time and i have no complaints about that.
Sounds good, but honestly, If I were you, I would look for an Si or S with a high mileage/screwy motor for less, and get a JDM swap. Thats what I wish I did.... well I sort of did that, got a 95 SE with JDM swap. You save money and have the reassurance of knowing your engine has less than 30k-40k
