Uh Oh, Mercedes

Guys, tonight I was going to Winn Dixie and this E 320 suddenly stopped in front of me. I tried the (ABS) brakes, but to me, it seemed like the car just slid. It slid right into a Mercedes-Benz E320. The lady was nice about it. Her tow hook (passenger's side) almost took out my headlight by about 2 inch. My car actually went up under the mercedes. We pulled into a parking lot, looked, called the cops, and then we went about our business. The thing is, NOTHING happened to her car, except for a few scratches that can be buffed out. That is what pissed me off. I know I am at fault, she didn't seem to interested in reporting it to insurance though. So, now what I need is:

Front Bumper
Hood.

I like the Wing's West front bumper (the Agressor, perhaps?), but I think the big mouth would look better, but I can only get the front. My car is a 93 and it's silver. A Silver Si. My question is, where is a good place to order these itmes? I want a good quality carbon-fiver hood, but I don't want to go raped for it. Thanks! Sorry this was a long post!

Sorry to hear about the accident and i guess you said she didn't press charges? That's cool...

But the aggressor kit isn't made for the 4th gen lude... so the big mouth is your only option. VIS makes great quality hood or Fiber Image... prices range from 375-450...

Kit....

I saw something on WW.com about the kit, it didn't have a name, but just the front is $235 and the 'model' car is a white lude.

man, i think the ABS sucks for panic braking. my friend with a gen 5 did the same thing: had someone in front of him stop unexpectedly with nowhere to turn. he hit his pedal, and got no brakes, slamming into the back of a truck. he's looking to bypass the ABS, now (he'll use a switch so he'll be ok in the winter).

abs is lame.

i used to have a 78 mercedes that had a trailer hitch. i've been rear ended 4 or 5 times in that car with no damage to it. The trailer hitch always puts one hell of a hole in something though, the best being a hole/dent in a jeep's radiator. At times like that i'd practically get out of the car laughing.

anyway sorry about your car, but you got the right idea replacing your body parts with something a little more fun, good luck. its good she didnt report to insurance
