OK I spent about 2 hours trying to install my jdm/oem YELLOW foglights. I have a 1994 , so its pre-wired for foglights. I couldnt get power from the 3 wires for the oem switch . So I checked the fuse , looks good. xMrM02x aka Mike told me all I needed was an switch , found out I need a relay that goes under the steering columm . My question is that do I need the subharness also? Im heading to the junkyard tomorrrow.
You MIGHT need the subharness. I know I did. Under the dash I had a 4-pin connector and the switch is a 6-pin so.... I need the subharness to make it work. Yes, you could make your own harness but, it'd be a PITA to figure out which are the two power wires etc.
prelude92 the subharness is not for the switch.....it is for the relay.
Cordova just look for older accords, in the fuse boxes under the hood. That's where i found the right relay.
Also, if you did get a JDM switch, you might wanna get a 5 wire harness if you want to wire it up the way it is supposed to be. They can also be found in accords, look for the harness to the hazard switch.

Wait, then were is the harness I plug my switch into the 6-pin one? I thought... man I'm confused. Where should I be able to find the 6-pin switch connector at? I have a 92.

if you have JDM switch then you'll need a 5 wire harness (even though there are more pins) to have it backlit when you turn on your parking lights. wiring it all up is no easy task either, and you don't end up using the regular relay either. but if you have the USDM switch then i guess you just use the stock wiring harness. I don't know if the stock wiring harness in the car will work with the JDM switch....i think it does though.

I'm still extrememly confused... how do I figure out if I have the JDM switch? where is the stock harness that plugs into my switch? what does the sub-harness do? Why will they still work without the sub-harness? Is there any place that just has a wire-by-wire definition of what they all do. So I can just try to piece it together I really want this to be stock quality.
OK I got a relay from an older accord (94-97) Plugged it in...Still no power from the switch wires....Man......So frustrating right now...Who wants to drive over here and help? Or vice versa

**EDIT** Is it safe to hardwire to my parking lights?
