First, Was there a type s (or similar 220ps) motor in a 4th gen prelude in Japan? If so, can you tell anyway from the block if it is a type s motor versus a regular jdm h22. I know it should have a red valve cover but the guy at my local shop said you never know what color the cover will be. So is there anyway visually besides the valve cover that you can tell it is a type s motor? Thanks.

The type s was only a fifth gen option. Gotta love the lsd and 220ps though. Not sure what 220ps converts to but I think it is like 217hp. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
