Type-S pistons in H23A block??????

any of you luders out there thought about it?? My friend @ pfispeed wants me to use the crank from the 98 accords and the Type-S pistons....puttin it all together to frankinstien it to a H25A1 VTEC....and with the accord crank i would be at 2.5 liters instead of 2.3....im very cerious to know if anyone in here has done it or thought about doin it????

umm well your compression would be about 14:1 in that scenario but hey if you're crazy go for it

And given the lack of aftermarket parts for the F23 crank like rods, you cvan only rev it to like 6000rpms on a good day...

type s pistons, yeah good idea. 98 accord crank, bad idea. More displacement isnt neccassarily good, especially if you are sacrificing your r/s ratio to achieve it.

type-s pistons in an H23 block/crank will yield about a 12.3:1 CR....

IMO... I wouldn't go with Type-S pistons unless you have some really good fuel/ignition management. I plan on putting USDM H22A pistons into my H23 to yield about a 11:1 CR. Higher than stock, but still not high enough where it gets very expensive to manage.
