type-R steering wheel conversion??

Is it possible?? since we can't make the s2000 wheel to fit...i was looking at the jdm type-r wheel with SRS....that has the red stitching...and i would love to put that on my 4th gen lude...

if anyone has done this or knows that it is possible..please let me know, i just want a better steering wheel that has an airbag so the cops won't hassle me, thanks!

this is the one i want to put in

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6775

or this one!!

There is a 5th gen on this board that has an s2000 wheel. What do you mean we can't make it fit?

The S2000 wheel will fit on a 5th Gen, but on a 4th Gen... the splines don't match up.

Can anyone give a definative answer on this? I've already got the boot and knob and the black/red-stitched recaro seats are in the mail, (black Tekniq enduro mats with red trim), and the wheel would really finish this off for me (not to mention my wheel is showing major wear).

Nope...Marcucci tried to get the s2k wheel to work on a 4th gen, but it didn't work, b/c the splines don't line up correctly.

I've asked this question about 5 times, and never got a definitive answer either. Everybody always talks about every other wheel under the sun, but never the ITR wheel.
