has anyone ever done it, or know if it's possible/practical to use the twin turbos from an RX-7 (the 7 is going single RX-6) in a prelude? I think a twin turbo prelude would be pretty bad ass. any ideas anyone?

Nope. Never seen one or heard of one. If you got a ****-ton of money to blow, go for it. . .but it aint going to be cheap, easy, and not even necessarily any more powerful than a single snail.
Ford had quad-turbo car. The GT-90. too bad they pussed out and never produced. instead they are reviving the GT-40. WTF? The tubo's would probably not be anymore powerful than a singel, but would spool much faster with their lower lag. it could probably put the prelude into the low 13s- high 12s with the right boost(just a guess). I thought it would probably be cheaper to do a single in the prelude anyway. but a sequential twin would still be cool...
The Prelude motor can't really build up enough pressure to spool up two turbos.
Are the turbos from a RX-7 sequential? I would rather do up a decent sized turbo, and help it with some nitrous.
The tri-turbo supra can be found here . Very pointless IMO, because he is putting down the same power that the stock twins are capable of, and can be very easily done with a Single turbo upgrade. ANother article here

if i do a twin turbo do a sequinatial turbo, cause that where the fun is, have the low end and teh high end turbo, cause i look at the number 4 a twin turbo upgrade to a supra not much better then a single, but the thing is, the turbo on a upgrade are no longer sequnital, it then becomes a Bi-turbo, the prob i heard is the stock turbo on a supra is control by a computer, but if u were to do something like a rx-7 then i might work where a small turbo scoll faster then both turbo are run at once( if i am wrong plz corret me)
not to diss but the guy actually sounded like a complete dumbass...i mean...he's talking all this crap about twin turbo and stuff but he doesnt really know what the hell he's talking about...i would believe that he has a twin turbo when i see it....and besides its really pointless and try to go twin turbo with a 4cylinder ...the guy doesnt even know how to beef up an automatic transmission for christ's sake...so what the hell does he know about twin turbo.....it looks like whoever he bought the lude from, that the guy who sold it to him lied to him...or something...probably paid a whole lot of money for it too...is it just me that this guy sound pretty stupid...and how the hell can two t04 can fit in there...dont believe this guy...there's alot of guys out there that BS there way through life just to impress people and i've talked to some and just called them BS in front of their faces and they couldnt even answer back when you catch them BS...the guy is a complete idiot
I am going to be ditching the twins from my 7 to go single (RX-6, almost as little lag as the stock twins and supporting up to 450 RWHP, same turbo used in the Impreza WRC), i will have some extra turbos with no use. so I thought maybe I could put them in the Prelude. I know the "rat's nest" turbo controls on the FD suck, and I woudl not want those used really. and I would hope to run them sequential like in my RX-7. theguy that says he uses two "two turbo's allows for a more dense charge" , and then later states sequential. sequential won't nescasarrily give more charge, just less lag , one turbo spools up in the low RPM, then the second takes over in the higher range. the stock RX-7 turbos aren't too big, two Hitachi HT12s. if you guys do here of anyone he has done a twin setup, that sounds truthful, let me know. I don't think there are any plans to use NOx in the prelude.
