Tune Ups

I have a basic idea of what I'm gonna do for my next tune up, however I'd like to get a list of things that one should do for a tune up.

What I'm doing:
Oil Change
New Wires
Checking Plugs
Checking Fuel Filter

Now, what ELSE is out there that's a good idea to check/replace?

2 questions: how long does a fuel filter last and how long to spark plug wires last?

....you only.....need....one period between....sentences.

You adjust them until they are in spec using a feeler gauge. If they are too tight you would losen it a bit and if they are too lose you tighten it a bit. The clearences are in the owners manual and on the hood sticker.

I hope you don't top off your brake fluid.

For a tune up I change oil, oil filter, plugs, wires if necessary, fuel filter, and valve adjustment.

By the way, the valve adjustment is very easy. Check the FAQ section for a write-up.
